When your existing roof is removed, and before your new roof is installed, we will inspect the wood decking underneath for any soft or rotten areas. If found we will replace the damaged areas with new wood decking, giving your roof a solid foundation.  

We install only upgraded synthetic roof underlayment which is the most durable material on the market. This layer of protection is placed between the decking and shingles and is resilient to tears and water absorption, giving your roof much longer lasting life and protection. 

Not all roofs are installed with an ice and water shield protection, however your new roof with Lighthouse Roofing definitely will be. This rubberized membrane provides added water protection in your roof's valleys where water tends to collect.

We install a drip edge metal flashing around the perimeter of the roof, which helps to hold the underlayment down and creates a watertight seal along the edges.  

Wind-resistant starter shingles will be installed around the entire perimeter of your roof that seal to the bottom shingle layer and help prevent wind and water from getting underneath.

We provide every homeowner with the upgrade to Lifetime Warrantied Architectural shingles, which are constructed with a heavy, high-quality material that is more durable than traditional 3-tab shingles.   

We install factory-cut shingles that are specifically made to protect your roof's hips and ridges, and blend with the full roof system. 

Your old roof vents will be replaced with an upgraded ridge vent, giving your attic a superior ventilation system and extending the life of your roof.  

Out with the old and in with the new! We replace all flashing and pipe boots with new ones, which will help direct water away from areas that tend to collect water and overtime can cause leaks.
